Improve your health
Every year in Northern Ireland around 11,700 local people get the news that they have cancer. Thankfully, two thirds survive but, unfortunately, we still lose more than 4,000 loved ones every year.
The earlier cancer is diagnosed, the more likely we are to survive and treatment can be less aggressive. We can also prevent many cancers if we make healthy lifestyle choices. These are the same healthy choices that lower the risk of other chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
Cancer Focus NI works with everyone - helping you to recognise the early signs of cancer, to make those healthy lifestyle choices and encouraging you to go for cancer screening when called.
You can download our Keeping Well brochure and other leaflets here. These programmes are offered free of charge to schools, workplaces and community groups. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
